How to Drop Off

Thank you for donating your harvest to Boone Brothers. Follow these steps to complete your drop-off:

1. FIELD DRESS YOUR DEER

Remove all internal organs before arriving.

2. TAG YOUR DEER

Inside the Doe Depot, locate the yellow tags near the door. Write your:

  • Name

  • KY Fish & Wildlife confirmation number

  • Phone Number

Securely attach the tag to your deer.

3. HANG YOUR DEER

Use the winch controller to lower the gambrel. Place one hook through each hind leg between the leg bone and Achilles tendon, then raise the deer. Move an available hanging hook toward the entrance, transfer the deer to it, and slide the deer farther inside to make room for the next donation.

4. CLOSE UP

Return the winch and gambrel to their starting position. Close the Doe Depot door firmly and make sure it is completely sealed.
